La Torre Guinigi

Un simbolo di Lucca questa torre, risalente al XIV secolo costruita da Paolo Guinigi che fu il signore di Lucca e caratterizzata dai sette alberi sulla sua cima, è l’unica tra quelle medievali a non esser stata danneggiata o distrutta.
Dalla sua sommità di quasi cinquanta metri ( 15 pertiche ossia 45 metri ) si può ammirare tutto il centro storico ed i dintorni all’esterno delle mura.

Symbol of Lucca this tower, dating back to the 14th century and built by Paolo Guinigi, who was the lord of Lucca,is characterized by seven trees on its top and is the only one not to have been damaged or destroyed.
From its top of almost fifty meters you can admire the entire historic center and the surroundings outside the walls.
